Ms. Lovejoy-Evans, has a Doctorate and a Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, WA.

She has been in private practice at Independence Through Physical Therapy in Sequim, WA, since 2002.

Loraine Earned her certification in the treatment of lymphedema and other swelling disorders at the Földi Klinik in Hinterzarten, Germany in 1999. While there, she studied with Michael Földi, MD, Professor of Medicine and Ethel Földi, MD.

She taught as a part-time faculty at the University of Puget Sound and has taught other health care professionals in continuing education courses. Dr. Lovejoy-Evans is working on research for lymphedema prevention protocols.

In 2007, Loraine was awarded APTA Washington State Chapter’s Clinical Excellence Award. She is the past Web Chair for the Oncology Section of the APTA and a member of the reimbursement committee for the Oncology Section and the state of Washington Chapter of the APTA.

She and her husband Eric enjoy kayaking and hiking with their dog Kiska in and around the Olympic National Park.
